The CNC versions of the Roundtest series excel in high traveling speed and outstanding rotational accuracy. In addition, the systems enable extremely fast and accurate centering and leveling of the workpiece on the automatically alignable table (AAT). The high positioning speed ensures short measuring periods and economical time-saving cycles – an essential advantage in production-related application.

The entire measurement flow can be simulated by the standard software including a graphic display of the „collision preview“ if needed. Hence, critical incidents during measurement of complex workpieces can be recognized and avoided.

The CNC models are equipped with a trend-setting detector that can be adjusted in one-degree increments. Even on workpieces that are difficult to measure, such as tapers and spheroids, the detector may be finely adjusted to the ideal angle.
