This measuring system provides all performance features of the basic model Surftest SV-3000 CNC.

The most distinctive feature: This high-precision surface measuring instrument is equipped with a movable measuring Y axis.
During measurement of large workpieces, for example, the entire Z2 axis moves in the Y measuring direction – thus providing a very large operating range for measuring difficult to access surfaces.

The system excels in an extraordinary drive speed of 200mm/s and an outstanding traverse linearity of 2 um/800 mm and 0.5 um/50 mm.

Additionally, the optional rotation detector unit provides surface measurement in the following directions: standard, overarm, lateral right/left.

This serial model, too, is standard equipped with the high-performance control and analysis software FORMTRACEPAK.
